The Victory is the Heritage of Generations
On May 8, 2026, a commemorative exhibition entitled «Victory is the Legacy of Generations» was held on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, organized by the scientific and creative organization «Young Journalists» of the Department of Theory and Practice of Journalism of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The exhibition represents a collection of rare photographs reflecting the war years, books dedicated to the war, newspapers and magazines, belonging to the war period letters recieved the front, and as well a contemporary images of Victory Day. The works by our Hero Arkadag dedicated to the war years and our heroes, photographs and letters of that period, and memories related to them, also have been exhibited.
Professors, lectures and students of our Institute participated in the exhibition dedicated to Victory Day. In the course of exhibition there were detailed discussions about the role of Turkmen Radio, which did a great deal of wore in broadcasting wartime news during the World War II.
The exhibition, held under the slogan “History is our past, Victory is our pride!”, was very impressive, and encouraged a sense of patriotism among the participants.
