President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov takes part in the Victory Parade in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945
On 09.05.2023, in Moscow, on Red Square, a military parade dedicated to the 78th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War was held, in which President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met in the Kremlin with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. And President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, together with the leaders of the CIS states, attended in the flower-laying ceremony at the Eternal Flame at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Moscow. The ceremony took place after the Victory Parade.
The President of Turkmenistan shows our compatriots a worthy example of preserving and perpetuating the truth about our national heroes. On the eve of the holiday, the Turkmen leader signed a Decree on giving valuable gifts to the participants of the Great Patriotic War and to the spouses of the soldiers who died in the war. The Turkmen leader emphasized the importance of Victory Day celebrations and said that such events have a great political significance between these two brotherly peoples. As President Serdar Bredimuhamedov noted, our honorable veterans are the sanctity of the Motherland, a high example of our unity, integrity, and human dignity.
