A MEETING FOR THE PREVENTION OF CRIME AMONG YOUTH HELD
On October 13, 2021, a video meeting organized by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) was held to discuss Education for Justice initiative.
The meeting was held within the framework of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime program "Criminal justice, crime prevention and integrity" with the participation of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, International University of Humanities and Development of Turkmenistan, teachers of secondary schools of the country.
During the meeting, representatives of international organizations, including UNODC Program Manager Mr. Koen Marquering, and Head of the Safe Migration Project in Central Asia, Ms. Eleanor Valentine, spoke about the practice of crime prevention and youth education based on world experience.
The training was also attended by teachers of the Department of International Law and Comparative Law of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. During the meeting, a number of issues related to the draft Plan for the further expansion of cooperation were considered.
