A competition has been held to attract young people to science and entrepreneurship
On May 22, 2023, a scientific competition among young inventors entitled "White (bright) Way to Growth" was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, organized by the Ashgabat City Committee of the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan to attract a wide group of young people to entrepreneurship in the period of transition to technological development and market relations. Students from the Higher Education Institutions of the country, such as the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen State Institute of Finance, the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, and Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmamed Azadi has been participated in this competition.
Representatives of Young Scientists' Councils presented their project proposals for startups. The meeting was attended by the chairman of the Ashgabat City Committee of the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, “Export Consulting” economic society, “Wabrum.com” internet shopping center, “Arzuv News” news portal, “Maslahatly Chozgut” economic society, “Timar” economic Society, Heads and experts of “Asman Express” economic society. Students presented their innovative proposals and projects for multifaceted development of economic indicators of the country in the fields of agriculture, ecology, financial system, international trade and IT technologies. Entrepreneurs appreciated the young people's project presentation and gave appropriate advice on improving the presented projects. During the competition, active members of the party spoke about the fact that relevant work is being done to attract young people to entrepreneurship within the framework of the State Program of the State Policy on Youth in Turkmenistan for 2021-2025 and this work will be continued on a large scale.
