GREAT NEWS: I HAVE BECOME A YOUNG SCIENTIST!
June 12 was one of the happiest days for me, just as it was for all young scientists. We are living in an era where the dreams and aspirations of the youth come true. I realized this even more clearly, when I became a winner in the scientific works competition among the youth of Turkmenistan. This great victory inspires us, young scientists, to pursue new scientific and creative endeavors.
Science and education serve as the foundation and a crucial condition for the development of any state, including the economic, scientific, and educational potential of our Motherland. Currently, the “Strategy for the Development of the Science System in Turkmenistan for 2024–2052” is being successfully implemented, and the state-led initiatives in this direction are presenting wonderful results. In this regard, encouraging talented youth to engage in science, education, and the mastery of new technologies is one of the primary tasks. The achievements made in the field of science just over the course of 2026 clearly prove this. On March 27 of this year, our esteemed President approved the “Concept for the Development of the Intellectual Property System of Turkmenistan for 2026–2052” and signed the corresponding Decree. Furthermore, on April 15, 2026, the opening ceremony of the UNESCO “Digital Science” Chair was held at the International Scientific and Technological Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan. This once again demonstrated Turkmenistan’s commitment to the further development of comprehensive cooperation with UNESCO. This chair will facilitate the multilateral development of cooperation regarding the achievements of modern science in the digital system and help promote our national experience on the global stage.
Our esteemed President places great trust in us, young scientists, by stating: “Science is a miraculous force that develops the youth’s confidence in themselves, their present, and their future, opening new, mysterious doors of life for them”. Just being a part of an era where our state places such immense trust in its youth is a great happiness in itself. In Turkmen culture, justifying trust is considered a duty. Moreover, the trust placed in us, the youth, by our Fatherland is sacred.
May the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, and our esteemed President, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, who are implementing great initiatives for the bright future of the youth, always sound health, and may their globally significant deeds for the benefit of the people always be crowned with success!
