YOUTH – CREATORS OF THE GREAT FUTURE OF OUR MOTHERLAND
On December 27, 2023, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of
Turkmenistan hosted the grand opening of the International Scientific and Practical
Conference and Multidisciplinary Exhibition, which became a kind of summing up
of the outgoing year being held under the motto “Happy Youth with Arkadag
Serdar”. During this event, state awards were presented to youth who had
distinguished themselves during the year in various areas of our economy.
On December 28, 2023, the ceremony of awards was held at the Institute of
International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the
participations of young employees of the diplomatic service took an active part in
promoting and implementing the peaceful foreign policy of our country. The award
ceremony was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of
Turkmenistan, Minister of Foreign Affairs R.Meredov, representatives of the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, students and teachers of the national
school of diplomacy of Turkmenistan.
During the event, certificates of honor and memorable gifts were presented.
As noted, in the modern world, the younger generation demonstrates their
knowledge and talents at various subject. Our students were participated in various
olympiads, performs at creative competitions, art festivals, sports competitions, as
well as successfully working in the public and private sectors, and participates in
the active development of the national economy. The fundamental reforms of our
country, implemented over the years of independence, have changed the country
beyond recognition.
Having very clearly outlined the most important goal – the prosperity of the
Turkmen state and the steady increase in the wellbeing of the people, President
Serdar Berdimuhamedov continues to successfully implement the main line of
progressive socioeconomic reforms and democratic transformations started by the
National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Hero-
Arkadag.
Thus, on March 19, 2022, at the inauguration ceremony, the President of
Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov identified among the priority tasks the
education of purposeful, highly qualified and trained youth with a great scientific
potential and broad outlook, capable of managing innovative technologies. In order
to strengthen the legal basis for the activities carried out in this area, a fundamental
document was developed and adopted in a new edition – the Law of Turkmenistan
“On State Youth Policy”, and in order to successfully solve the tasks outlined in it,
the State Programme in the field of the state youth policy of Turkmenistan for
2021–2025 and the Action Plan for its implementation were approved.
A great gift to all Turkmen people on the eve of the New Year celebrations
was a book of the head of state Ýaşlar – Watanyň daýanjy, devoted to the life, fate
and achievements of Turkmen youth in all areas.
At the end, the participants of the event expressed deep gratitude to
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of
Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag, for the multifaceted work being carried out and the
opportunities provided by the state to the younger generation.
