Young reporters were provided with the class
On January 22, 2026, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a training session for young reporters from the media youth groups from higher educational institutions of our country. The session focused on the upcoming the First championship of the AFC-2 Round of Champions League for 1/8 final match between the “Arkadag” Turkmen football club and “Al-Nassr” Saudi Arabian team taking place in Ashgabat on February 11. Some representatives of the media group participated through the digital network.
The first session, titled “Essential Skills of Sports Journalists,” was conducted by Gurbangeldi Mammetsahedov, an instructor from the Languages Department of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Education and Sports. During his presentation, The instructor spoke about the importance of Sports diplomacy and the international sports competitions hosted by Turkmenistan in recent years, and the specific features of football reporting. He also shared interesting information with the audience about "Arkadag" and "Al-Nassr” teams.
