Review of periodicals
The 19th issue of the Nespaper “Yaş diplomatyň sesi” (Voice of the Young Diplomat), issued twice a month by the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, has been published. It should be noted that page 1 of the 7-page edition is dedicated to the 7th Summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States in Istanbul on November 12 this year. An article by Seyli Arishov, fourth-year student of the Faculty of International Journalism of our institute, is under the headline “Syýasy teswir” (Political Commentary). The article, titled “Türki dünýäsine açylan täze penjire” (A New Window Opening to the Turkic World) states that Turkmenistan’s participation in the historic summit as an observer means that cooperation with the Council is one of the priorities of our country’s foreign policy. The article also emphasizes the importance of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States, established on October 3, 2009 in strengthening the unity and brotherhood of Turkic-speaking peoples.
On page 2 of the Newspaper, the political interview by the students of the Faculty of International Journalism of our Institute, Gaygysyz Kerimov, Yhlas Atamuradov, Ajayip Nobatova titled “Double Wing of Independence with a Double Book”, was organized by the Editor-in-Chief, experienced instructor of the institute, the author of the book “Soýuz hem Garaşsyzlyk” (Union and Independence) Tachgeldi Gutliyev.
In previous issues of our newspaper (17, 18), it was noted that there are four types of methodology for reading books in our conversations with our tutor. In this article you can read the interesting stories of our fellow teacher about the historical direction of the reading of the heart. “The notion of a referendum was a monstrosity in the Gorogly epic that Hunkar came with forty thousand and tried to overthrow Chandybil’s independence,” said our tutor in an interview. All this is clear evidence that the book “Union and Independence” is a manifesto of scientific and journalistic book calling on the Turkmen people to become an independent state. The interview continues on page 3 of our newspaper, which highlights the importance and features of the 3rd analytical and 4th philosophical forms of reading.
In addition, an article by our institute teacher Mahriban Gandymova entitled “New Initiatives in Ecology” dedicated to the 26th session of the participating states to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change was published on page 3 of our newspaper. The article, published under the headline “Political-ecological commentary” says that Turkmenistan adopted a new law “On Renewable Energy Sources” and will further develop cooperation with foreign organizations in this area.
Page 4 of the publication includes articles prepared by the students of the Institute in Russian and English languages under the heading “International Days of the United Nations”. The article written in English by Aylar Atajykova, second-year student of the Faculty of International Journalism, gives an interesting account of the history and development of BBC news, one of the world’s most popular channels. Moreover, on this page you can read a good article in English, entitled “UNESCO Day”, dedicated to the founding day of UNESCO by Jennet Myradova, first-year student of the Faculty of International Journalism of the Institute. Aygul Meredova, first-year student at the Faculty of International Relations of our Institute, in her article written in Russian under the title “Всемирный день науки за мир и развитие”, notes that “Тема 2021 года – Построить сообщество, готовые к изменению климата”, which aims to prevent climate change. Furthermore, on this page Gulruh Geldiyeva, first-year student at the Faculty of International Relations, presents her article titled “Parahatçylygyň ýaş çapary bolasyňyz gelýärmi?” (Do You Want to Be a Young Messenger of Peace?). In an interview with Akmuhammet Jumaguliyev, Lecturer at the Department of International Relations of the Institute, she as a participant in the competition, tells about the stages of the intellectual contest “Young Messengers of Peace”.
