NEW 27TH ISSUE OF THE NEWSPAPER “VOICE OF A YOUNG DIPLOMAT” PUBLISHED
Recently, the 27th issue of the electronic newspaper “Voice of a Young Diplomat”, issued twice a month by the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, was published.
The first and second pages of this issue of our newspaper, published in three languages, are devoted to the results of the presidential elections held in the country on a democratic basis. In particular, the front page covered a very informative and interesting discussion at the “round table”, organized by the teacher of the Institute Vepa Nazarov with the teaching staff of our higher educational institution. The meeting “Halkyň saýlany – Hakyň halany” was dedicated to the election of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who achieved high results in the elections.
The second page of the publication contains an interview entitled “New Steps in National Diplomacy” by a second-year student of the Faculty of International Journalism of the Institute, Aylar Atajikova, with the head of the Scientific Center for Strategic Studies of our higher educational institution, Shiri Shiriyev. An experienced diplomat told about the Scientific Center for Strategic Studies of the Institute, its composition, structure and activities. During the interview a question on the impact of the Center’s activities on the further development of national diplomacy was discussed.
The third page of the electronic newspaper is dedicated to the international days declared by the UN and the world’s leading news agencies. In particular, readers will be able to read the following articles: “History of the Foundation of Anadolu Agency” by Maral Bagirova, third-year student of the Faculty of International Journalism of the Institute, “International Day of Happiness” by Myahri Bayramova, first-year student of the Faculty of International Journalism and “International Women’s Day” by Aygul Halmyradova, third-year student of the same faculty.
On the fourth page of the newspaper, there is an article by Ajayip Nobatova, first year student of the Faculty of International Journalism, titled “Nuances of French Journalism”. The publication provides interesting facts about the history of journalism in France, the features of the development of the media in this country, informative data about the first newspaper “La gazette”, the first magazine “Journal des scavans”, the first TV channel “Radio-RTT Vision”, as well as the history of the establishment of the news agency “Agency Frence-Presse”. In addition, the publication about “International Organization of Journalists” in Russian prepared by Merjen Ashirova, first-year student of the Faculty of International Journalism, is placed on the same page. It reveals in detail the characteristics of this international organization of journalists.
On the fifth page of the newspaper, where international news is concentrated, the latest news is published under the headings “Turkmenistan in the international media space” and “World News”. The materials for this page of the newspaper were prepared by first-year students of the Faculty of International Journalism of the Institute Annaberdi Kashanov, Toyly Myratgeldiev, Nurmuhammet Chariyev and Babahan Eyeberenov.
As you know, under the leadership of the Hero Arkadag, great importance is now attached in the country to the great veneration of historical figures, great thinkers, famous poets and writers. The sixth page of our electronic newspaper is dedicated to the birthday of prominent poet Gurbannazar Ezizov. Here is an article “Dutaryň owazyndan başlap...”, written by the poet himself. The author shares his philosophical views on the musical art of Nury Halmammedov. The commentary of experienced teacher Tyachgeldi Gutliyev was published on the same page, in which an assessment of the poet’s journalism is given. The material begins with the words, “We journalists, like all creative workers and the general public, know Gurbannazar Ezizov as a poet who philosophically reflected the life of the Turkmen people in a completely new way. Hence, having placed in the March issue of our newspaper a journalistic article by G. Ezizov, born in March, written by the poet in 1969 and published in the periodical press, we want to especially note the talent of the great poet in journalism…”.
On the seventh page of our newspaper there is an article by a fourth year student of the Faculty of International Journalism of the Institute Novruz Kurbanov about the 5th game of the 1st qualifying stage of the intellectual game “Young Messengers of Peace”, which is regularly held among school students in our higher educational institution. Our student conducted a special interview with students taking part in the competition and presented this material in a lively and very entertaining way.
On the last page of our electronic newspaper, there is an article under the title “Spring as an amazing time of the year”, by Maya Chariyeva, instructor at the Department of World Languages of the Institute. The publication expresses in Russian wonderful thoughts about spring, considered one of the most beautiful seasons and its charms. Poems by student poet Myatgurban Myatgurbanov about love for springtime and reflecting philosophical themes were published on the same page.
