Fascinating Trip to Ylham ( Inspiration) Park
On March 12, 2022, we, as young messengers of peace had an opportunity to go on a bewildering excursion to Ylham ( Inspiration) Park with the students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The park was called “Ylham” ( it means Inspiration ) because there are a lot of sculptures depicting prominent Turkmen poets, thinkers and scholars of antiquity and modernity. Our aim was to get acquainted with the life of our prominent Turkmen poets, thinkers and scholars of antiquity and modernity and learn more about their creative works. The teacher from the Institute of International Relations told us the life of Nesimi and his creative works . We learned that Nesimi was one of the greatest poets in the literature and how the ideas of Nesimi were spread to a large extent through his poetry. During this excursion we were inspired to learn more about the other poets’ contributions to our literature and are proud of having such great poets.
