“Sushi” national dish of Japan introduced
On July 8, 2022 at the Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan was held the opening ceremony of the exhibition "I love sushi" organized by the Embassy of Japan in Turkmenistan. The exhibition will run from July 8-29.
The exhibition brought together those who want to get acquainted with the unique world of the Japanese people, the historical origin, preparation and features of their national cuisine. The preparation of the Sushi dish, a national tradition of the Japanese people, their forms were presented to the general public at the exhibition.
The opening ceremony was attended by students of the universities of Turkmenistan, who are taught in Japanese language, culture and art, representatives of the mass media, a large number of fans of Japanese culture and guests of the capital.
In recent years, Turkmen-Japanese relations have been expanding. Regular exhibitions are organized within the framework of Turkmen-Japanese cultural relations. In particular, an exhibition of Japanese dolls was held in February 2021, and an exhibition of Japanese ceramics entitled "Yakasime: Earth Change" was held in March 2022.
Turkmen-Japanese relations are growing, changing and gaining momentum. Important areas of that relationship are also developing rapidly in science and education. The improvement of these systems, in turn, sets the main goals for the development of the two friendly countries.
