GLORY TO THE DEFENDERS OF THE HOMELAND
On May 3, 2021, a creative meeting was held, titled “Görelde mekdebi siz, Watan gahrymanlary” (You are an examplary school, Heroes of the Homeland) in honor of the veterans who served in the war and the rear and on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. During the creative meeting, the students had a great opportunity to visit the exhibition organized by the Main Archive Department under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and watch a specially documentary film. The video interview with a war veteran organized by M. Khudaiguliyeva, a first-year student of the Faculty of International Journalism made a great impression on the students. This is because the impressive speeches of war veteran Pryanichnikova Antonina Pavlovna and Dmitry Alexandrov, who worked in the rear, their response to the defenders of the homeland, helped future generations to have a broader understanding of the concept of homeland sanctity. B. Atayeva, a senior Researcher of the Scientific Publishing Department of the Main Archive Department under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, documents of the Great Patriotic War, the preparation of books "Khatira" and "Shohrat", the monologue from the play “ Gala” performed by Takhir Mammedov, an actor of the National Drama Theater named after Alp Arslan , D.Lomanov, a third-year student of the Faculty of International Economic Relations, recited a poem, praising the bravery of the Turkmen soldiers, a poem composed by R. Jumayev, a fourth year student of the Faculty of International Relations, songs performed in Russian and Turkmen by A. Seyitgulieva, a senior lecturer at Turkmen National Conservatory named after M. Kulieva made the creative meeting more effective . So, the music "Ugradysh", which was created by M. Tachmuradov, the People's Bakhshi of Turkmenistan, on the occasion of the return of our heroic soldiers to the front, the "Red Caravan" ( Gyzyl kerwen) dedicated to the Turkmen women who gave their gold and silver jewelry to the front, the music "Victory" dedicated to the victory of the soldiers and the screening of a documentary film related to the period of Great Patriotic War gave an impetus to the participants to understand the importance of the heroic, spiritual and courageous qualities of our ancestors in defending the Motherland.
