EDUCATIONAL AND ADVOCACY MEETINGS
On November 26, 2025, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held large-scale educational and awareness events aimed at fostering patriotism, trust and a spirit of peace among the younger generation. These events were organized within the framework of the "International Year of Peace and Trust" and the 30th anniversary of the permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan.
At the meeting, Aygozel Ovezova, senior lecturer of the World Languages Department of the Institute, delivered a presentation to the pupils of grades 6–12 of secondary schools No. 71 and No. 78 of the Berkararlyk district of Ashgabat. She provided detailed information about the history of Neutrality, its national and international significance, as well as the purpose of declaring 2025 as the “International Year of Peace and Trust.” Moreover, N. Guljanova, D. Allakov, and A. Myradov, who are members of the UNESCO Club “Culture of Peace” of the Institute, held an interactive question-and-answer session with the pupils. The pupils who gave correct answers on the topics of Neutrality and peace received souvenirs on behalf of the Institute.
These activities played an important role in enhancing students’ understanding of positive Neutrality policy of Turkmenistan, its principles of peace-building, mutual respect and trust, as well as in fostering patriotism and high moral values among them.
