EDUCATIONAL AND AWARENESS MEETING WAS HELD
On May 15, 2026, an awareness and educational event was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the aim of successfully implementing the state policy carried out under the wise leadership of the Esteemed President in our Independent and Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan to promote healthy lifestyle principles.
The event was also organized in accordance with the "Plan of Activities to Combat Tobacco Use in Turkmenistan for May 1-31, 2026" in order to explain the harmful effects of destructive habits among students and youth, as well as to promote healthy lifestyle and national moral values.
The event was moderated by Gaygysyz Dovletov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. Representatives of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, the Prosecutor General's Office of Turkmenistan, the Supreme Court of Turkmenistan, the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan, and the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan participated in the awareness meeting. In their speeches, they emphasized strengthening educational work among young people, encouraging them to stay away from negative behaviors, preserving and continuing national traditions and customs with dignity, observing traffic regulations, increasing awareness about the harmful effects of bad habits on human health, preventing crime, and using the opportunities of the Internet properly and responsibly.
During the event, special attention was given to issues related to ensuring that the younger generation grows into well-educated, physically healthy, broad-minded, and morally upright individuals, as well as to the protection of youth rights. An extensive question-and-answer session was also held.
At the end of the meeting, the participants expressed their words of gratitude to the Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for their tireless efforts aimed at ensuring the happy and prosperous life of the people and the comprehensive development of the younger generation into accomplished individuals.
