A LECTURE ON "THE OSCE IN THE MODERN SECURITY ARCHITECTURE"
On October 31, OSCE Centre in Ashgabat organized a lecture on "the OSCE in the Modern Security Architecture" for the students international relations from the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the International University for the Humanities and Development.
The lecture was organized as part of the project "Raising Awareness about the OSCE and the Center's Activities.
During the event Ambassador John MacGregor, Head of the OSCE Centre in Ashgabat introduced the students to the history, structure and philosophy of the OSCE and drew attention to the 50th anniversary since the 1975 Helsinki Final Act was first signed which will be celebrated in 2025. The Centre proposed to organize a lecture on the premises of the OSCE Centre in Ashgabat to provide students with an opportunity to visit the new premises of the Centre and meet with its international staff.
