DAY OF NAVAL FORCES OF TURKMENISTAN
Every year on October 9, our country celebrates the Day of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan. The event is held at the Naval Institute and the Specialized Naval School of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan and the Naval Center of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan in the Central House of Officers in Ashgabat and the military unit of the TurkThis significant date is celebrated in our country in accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, General of the Army Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov of October 10, 2011.
The Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, along with all parts of the Armed Forces, provides material and technical support for the naval forces, purchases the latest and most modern warships, introduces the most advanced technologies and, thereby, strengthens this direction.men Navy located on the Caspian Sea coast.
In addition, the combat and humanitarian training of the personnel of naval sailors is increasing every day. For example, the opening of a new complex of buildings of the Naval Institute of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan on October 9, 2015, as well as the opening of the Specialized Military School of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan on September 1, 2016, are the result of the great care of our Supreme Commander-in-Chief.
Our military sailors are competently performing their service. As an example of peace and tranquility, they are guided by our Military Doctrine. Therefore, their efforts to ensure the integrity and inviolability of our maritime borders are crowned with success.
