A CONFERENCE TITLED “RESULTS OF THE HALK MASLAHATY OF TURKMENISTAN: YOUTH POLICY” WAS HELD
On September 12, 2025, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a conference dedicated to the role of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan. Lecturers and students of the institute took an active part in the conference.
Presentations on the importance of youth policy of Turkmenistan were delivered by Mahriban Garayeva and Muhammet Suleymanov, lecturers of the Department of Social Sciences of the institute, as well as Selbi Gandymova, a lecturer-trainee of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy.
In their speeches, the lecturers highlighted the historical significance of the Halk Maslahaty, noting that its meetings address key issues such as the education, upbringing and social protection of youth. The Halk Maslahaty serves as a vital bridge between generations, blending the wisdom of elders with the dynamic energy of the young into a single, collaborative force. This consistent effort ensures that young people are not merely recipients of state support but are recognized as genuine partners in shaping the nation’s future.
At the conclusion of the conference, participants expressed their gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag and our esteemed President, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, for their tireless efforts in ensuring the well-being of our nation.
