CONFERENCE TITLED “THE HALK MASLAHATY OF TURKMENISTAN: A HIGH-LEVEL MODEL OF DEMOCRACY”
On October 9, 2025, a conference entitled “The Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan: A High-Level Model of Democracy” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, with the active participation of professors, lecturers, and students of the institute. The purpose of the event was to highlight the significance and outcomes of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan held on September 19.
During the event, speakers emphasized the importance of conducting the work of the Halk Maslahaty—which plays a vital role in the socio-political life of the country—at a high organizational level. Special attention was also given to the adoption of the Constitutional Law of Turkmenistan “On the Legal Basis for the Policy of Peace and Trust of Neutral Turkmenistan,” which holds strategic importance in further strengthening role of the country’s Positive Neutrality Policy within national legislation.
As noted in the speeches, the tasks set forth for the benefit of the state and the people at this meeting, held in our new historical era, once again confirmed the great role of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan in the life of our society and the country as a whole.
At the end of the meeting, the participants expressed their deep gratitude to our Honorable President, the National Leader, who carries out great work to ensure a prosperous and peaceful life for our people. They also sincerely wished our Arkadagly Hero Serdar and our Hero Arkadag sound strong, long life, and success in all their undertakings aimed at the benefit of the country.
