Competition for the Challenge Cup of the Educational Center for the Priority Areas of the Diplomacy of Turkmenistan
On May 28, 2021, at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, a competition in energy, transport and water diplomacy was held among students of the higher educational institutions of the country for the challenge cup of the Training Center for the Priority Areas of the Diplomacy of Turkmenistan. The competition was attended by students of the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly, the International University for the Humanities and Development, the International University of Oil and Gas named after Y. Kakayev, the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov, the Institute of Engineering, Technical and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, as well as students of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan. The Turkmen Agricultural Institute participated through digital video communication. The jury consisted of a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Director of the Individual Enterprise “Bir dünýä”, as well as a specialist of the Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly. The competition was aimed at a comprehensive study of the foreign policy of the President of Turkmenistan, and first of all, the initiatives put forward by him in the field of energy, transport and water diplomacy for the sake of promoting effective international cooperation.
Teams competed on such terms as introducing themselves, answers to questions, the ability to find a way out of various situations, preparation of presentations. According to the results of the competition, the team of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan was awarded the 1st place, the students of the Magtymguly Turkmen State University took the 2nd place, the teams of the International University for the Humanities and Development and the International University of Oil and Gas named after Y. Kakayev took the 3rd place. The participants were awarded with Diplomas and mementos.
At the end of the competition, the students expressed sincere words of gratitude to esteemed President for his initiatives and efforts aimed at ensuring peace, security and stability, as well as the prosperity of the peoples of the world.
