On July 5, 2025, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a ceremony to award certificates to students who are attending optional classes at the Training Center for Priority Areas of Diplomacy of Turkmenistan and including: 19 students in the area of Preventive Diplomacy, 27 students in the area of Transport Diplomacy, 11 students in the area of Energy Diplomacy, 13 students in the area of Water Diplomacy, 28 students in the area of Economic Diplomacy and 6 students in optional classes at the Scientific and Methodological Center for Sustainable Development Goals.

The Training Center for Priority Areas of Diplomacy of Turkmenistan offers students optional classes on in-depth study of key areas of the Turkmen diplomacy that play an important role in shaping the country's foreign policy.

In these Centers, students are trained at such priority areas as Transport Diplomacy, which focuses on the development of international transport corridors, Water and Energy Diplomacy, dedicated to issues of global energy security, Water Diplomacy, which concerns the rational use of water resources, and Preventive Diplomacy, aimed at preventing conflicts and strengthening peace at the regional and global levels. An important place in the program of optional classes at the Training Center is also occupied by Economic Diplomacy, covering issues of international economic cooperation, and the activities of the Scientific and Methodological Center for Sustainable Development Goals, where students study ways to achieve global sustainable development goals. The successful completion of these courses by a large group of students testifies to their desire to deeply understand modern challenges and opportunities in the field of international relations, as well as to the continued commitment of our country to the training of highly qualified diplomatic personnel.
