FESTIVE CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO THE DAY OF DIPLOMATIC WORKERS OF TURKMENISTAN
On February 16, 2024, in the conference hall of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, a festive conference entitled "Diplomacy of Turkmenistan: its history, present and future" on the occasion of the Day of Diplomatic workers of Turkmenistan has been held jointly with the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The event was attended by representatives of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, Trade Unions of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, senior diplomats, teaching staff of the Institute, as well as students.
At this festive conference, the rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Candidate of Historical Sciences Jumamyrat Gurbangeldiyev, the chair of the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan, the Central Council of the Women's Union of Turkmenistan Akjemal Durdyeva, the director of the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan, Doctor of Law Yagmyr Nuryev, doctor of the Stomatology Training and Production Center of the State Medical University of Turkmenistan named after Myrat Garryev, Candidate of Medical Sciences, chairman of the Ashgabat People's Council, Honorary Elder of Turkmenistan Gurbannazar Atayev, Deputy of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, Chairman of the Committee on Science, Education, Culture and Youth Policy of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Bahar Seyidova, Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of Turkmenistan Yazdursyn Gurbannazarova, lecturer of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, head of the UNESCO Club "Culture of Peace" Aygozel Ashirova delivered speeches.
During the festive conference, the speakers particularly emphasized that tireless efforts of our highly respected President aimed at global peace, security and sustainable development are widely supported by the world community.
At the festive event, the Political Council of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan, the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan presented gifts and diplomas to senior diplomats, professors and teachers. In addition, valuable gifts were presented to the winners of the "Mathematical Modeling" competition held among students of higher educational institutions of the country, as well as to the mentors who trained the students for participation in the competition.
At the end of the conference, the participants expressed their deep gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, our Hero Arkadag and our deeply respected President.
