RESOLUTION
on holding the brain-ring competition "Cooperation of Turkmenistan with the World Trade Organization" among the students of the International University of Humanities and Development, International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshygeldi Kakaev, Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov, University of Engineering and Technologies of Turkmenistan named after Oguz Khan, Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management, Turkmen State Institute of Finance, Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan, Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction, Institute of Engineering and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan.
In order to promote international cooperation of youth and achieve high results in improving the scientific-educational and professional skills of students, within the framework of the implementation of the "Program for the Development of Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan for 2020-2025," which includes the main directions of the development of international cooperation of Turkmenistan's foreign trade policy, as well as "Foreign Trade Strategy of Turkmenistan for 2021-2030," the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan developed and prepared the Regulation on organizing and holding the brain-ring competition "Cooperation of Turkmenistan with the World Trade Organization" among students of higher educational institutions.
I. The goals of the competition:
1.1. to study the main directions of development of Turkmenistan's foreign trade policy in the year "The Fount of Wisdom Magtymguly Pyragy" year, to analyse international economic situations and planning foreign economic affairs; to identify talented young people in this field among the students of higher educational institutions,
1.2. to establish educational relations between higher educational institutions and improve students' knowledge.
II.The Process of the Competition:
2.1.The organizers of the competition are the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
2.2.The questions and organizational matters of the competition will be determined by a group consisting of representatives of the Department of Cooperation with the World Trade Organization of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan.
2.3.The competition will be held on June 10, 2024, on the occasion of Science Day, at the "Economic Diplomacy" training center on important areas of diplomacy of Turkmenistan of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
2.4.Teams consisting of 4 students from each higher educational institution will participate in this competition.
2.5.The brain-ring competition will be held in the form of questions and answers in English.
2.6.The stages of the competition will consist of answering the questions given by the presenter in a limited time (1 minute for each question).
2.7.The results of the competition will be based on the decisions of the jury.
III.The Procedure of Determining the Winners of the Competition
3.1. The winners of the competition will be determined by the jury of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan.
3.2. The winners of the competition will be announced as 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. The winners will be awarded with diplomas of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and gifts from sponsors.
