AN EDUCATIONAL AND METHODOLOGICAL SEMINAR DEDICATED TO THE PRINCIPLES OF NEUTRALITY OF TURKMENISTAN WAS HELD
On October 7, 2026, an educational and methodological seminar was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan to implement the tasks arising from the lecture conducted by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero Arkadag, on September 2, 2026, at the Ruhyyet Palace in Arkadag city. The seminar was attended by, faculty members of the Institute and secondary school students.
At the educational and methodological seminar, Muhammet Bashimov, lecturer of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy of the Institute, gave a presentation on “Turkmenistan – Compliance with the Principles of Neutrality under Various Conditions of International Politics.” In his presentation, the lecturer noted that Turkmenistan’s neutrality is one of the main directions of its international policy, as well as its active and positive foreign policy. Furthermore, he emphasized that Turkmen neutrality calls for strengthening global peace, fostering friendly and fraternal relations among nations, and celebrating humanitarian principles.
The seminar featured an in-depth discussion on the National Leader’s inspiring guidance regarding patriotism and bravery, as well as the upbringing of the younger generation and strategic steps in foreign policy. The event concluded with an engaging, interactive question-and-answer session.
