DIGITAL INNOVATION AND COOPERATION BETWEEN THE UN AND TURKMENISTAN
On October 23, a training and methodological seminar titled “Main Principles of Improving the Process of Introducing Innovative Technologies in Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan and Cooperation between the UN and Turkmenistan” was held in honor of United Nations Day.
During the seminar, Chemen Bayryveva, a senior lecturer delivered a keynote speech on “Advancing Sustainable Development: Key Approaches to Implementing Innovative Technologies in Turkmenistan.” The lecturer emphasized that digital technologies serve as a core foundation for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are fully integrated into Turkmenistan’s national programs, major economic projects, and social policies. Aligning with these key principles, our estemeed President continues to encourage the adoption of technology-driven solutions, expanding access to telemedicine, e-government platforms, and digital education across the nation.
Following the lecturer’s presentation, the students delivered their own presentations, highlighting the strong partnership between Turkmenistan and the United Nations, as well as the core functions and missions of the UN in promoting global peace and development.
Throughout the seminar, students shared the knowledge and insights they had gained from their lessons and personal experiences through slide presentations.
