Round table discussion dedicated to the implementation of the SDGs in Turkmenistan
On March, 20, 2023, a round table discussion dedicated to the implementation of the SDGs in Turkmenistan was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The round table discussion was moderated by Akmuhammet Jumakuliev, Lecturer at the Department of the International Relations and Diplomacy of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. During the round table discussion, Egor Zaysev, Head of the Country Office the World Health Organization (WHO) in Turkmenistan, Ayna Seyitliyeva, Head of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Country Office in Turkmenistan, Timur Dosmammedov, Head of the Office of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Turkmenistan, Chary Atayev, Head of the Office of the United Nations on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Turkmenistan, Tomica Paovich, Deputy Permanent Representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Turkmenistan, Philip Saprykin, Deputy Head of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA) delivered speeches on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals adopted within the framework of the UN Development Program of Turkmenistan.
At the end of the round table discussion , the participants and guests exchanged their opinions on the discussed issues and visited the museum of the history of Turkmen diplomacy, located in our institute .
