A trained session titled “Turkmenistan – Japan: The Unity and Uniqueness of World Culture” was held
On February 24, 2026, an impressive educational session titled “Turkmenistan – Japan: the Unity and Uniqueness of World Culture” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. It was aimed at expanding students view on world culture and studying the cultural pillars of international relations. The educational session was attended by 3rd year students of the institute as well as experienced lecturers. Educational session was conducted by Dunyagozel Babahanova, instructor of the department of world languages of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the educational session presentations were made regarding the historical and spiritual similarities between the two countries. In the course of the presentations the great contribution of common values of the Turkmen and Japanese peoples such as respect for elders, preserving the sanctity of the family and commitment to national traditions to the unity of world culture and the raising of cultural relations between the two countries to new heights were demonstrated through presentation. Also, the mutual harmony of Turkmenistan’s Ahalteke horses and exquisite carpets with Japans unique tea art and traditions was brought to the attention of the students.
Students participated very actively in the educational session and expressed their views on the role of cultural diplomacy in the modern world. This session has a great importance in improving the professional skills of future specialists in properly reflecting the cultural characteristics of various peoples of the world.
