Turkmen International Exhibition and Scientific Conference Solemnly Opened in the Capital
On October 9, 2024, the International Exhibition "Healthcare, Education, and Sports in the Period of the Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State," held in honor of Health and Medical Industry Workers' Day, was ceremoniously opened at the Basha-Bash Martial Arts Sports Complex of the Olympic Campus in the capital. The forum, organized jointly by the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, the Ministry of Education, and the State Committee on Physical Education and Sports, also included the official opening of a scientific conference.
The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Premiers of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads and representatives of foreign diplomatic missions and international organizations in Turkmenistan, officials from various ministries and government departments, media representatives, employees of the national healthcare system, honored elders, and students, including instructors of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The attendees listened with great enthusiasm to the congratulatory message sent by the esteemed President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the participants of the forum.
The exhibition highlighted the rapid development of the country’s healthcare system, showcasing Turkmenistan's achievements in medical science and industry, public health protection, and the country’s immense potential in these areas. It also emphasised the growing interest of foreign partners in engaging actively with Turkmenistan’s healthcare sector. Representatives from countries such as China, Italy, Russia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Romania, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Qatar, and Belarus, as well as experts in international cooperation, were invited to participate in the forum.
It is worth noting that a special media area was set up for journalists within the exhibition. Students and instructors of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held teleconferences and recorded the experiences of exhibition participants. This provided a valuable opportunity for future international journalists to deepen their theoretical knowledge and enhance their practical skills.
This international forum has become one of the prestigious platforms promoting the implementation of the latest achievements in medical science, education, and sports, while further strengthening relations with foreign partners. The international exhibition "Healthcare, Education, and Sports in the Period of the Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State" will continue until October 12, 2024.
