THE SCIENTIFIC-PRACTICAL CONFERENCE "HUMANISTIC VIEWS OF MAGTYMGULY PYRAGY: CULTURE AS AN INSTRUMENT OF PEACEMAKING" WAS HELD
On June 22, 2023, a scientific-practical conference entitled “Humanistic views of Magtymguly Pyragy: culture as an instrument of peacemaking” on the occasion of the Day of Workers of Culture and Arts and the Poetry of Magtymguly Pyragy was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The conference was attended by researchers from the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan, professors and teachers of Higher educational institutions of the country and our institute, as well as students.
Speakers at the plenary session of the conference spoke about the importance of popularizing the literary heritage of Magtymguly Pyragy, his role in the development of national statehood and the contribution of the humanist poet to the treasury of universal spiritual values. The great role and importance of the policy of broad international scientific cooperation pursued by the esteemed President, taking place in the country on the initiative of the Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag of fundamental changes that contribute to the expansion of fruitful contacts, study and popularization of the cultural heritage of the Turkmen people, an integral part of the spiritual treasury of mankind, was unanimously noted.
As the speakers emphasized Magtymguly Pyragy, who devoted his talent to serving enduring universal values is one of the significant figures in the spiritual and intellectual world process. The participants stated that the significance of Magtymguly's work, which had a great influence on the development of the artistic thought of the peoples of the world goes beyond national borders and requires further in-depth and comprehensive study.
The conference continued its work in four scientific sections: "Creativity of Magtymguly Pyragy - a high principle of peace-loving", "Culture - the principle of the spiritual life of society", "Economy and culture of Turkmenistan - interconnected relics", "Magtymguly Pyragy - the light of world poetry".
