Glorious history of Turkmen diplomacy
On February 15, 2022, a festive conference “Diplomacy of Turkmenistan – its Past, Present and Future” devoted to the Day of the Diplomats of Turkmenistan was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. It was organized together with the National Council of Turkmenistan, the National Trade Union Center of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
Within the framework of the conference “Diplomacy of Turkmenistan – its Past, Present and Future”, an exhibition was organized at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan by the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Ph.D., Jumamyrat Gurbangeldiyev, Executive Secretary of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO, Hero of Turkmenistan, Ch. Rustemova, director of the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan Ya. Nuriyev, member of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, chairwoman of the Committee for International Affairs of the Halk Maslahaty, M. Bashimova, deputy of the Mejlis of the National Council of Turkmenistan, member of the Committee on International and Parliamentary Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, N. Komekov and third-year student of the Faculty of International Relations and Diplomacy of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, K. Mammedov, delivered speeches and congratulations on the occasion of the holiday.
The music group of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan performed musical performances and gifts from the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan were presented on the occasion of the Day of Diplomats of Turkmenistan.
