Training session on Sustainable Development Goals
On June 26, 2023, a training session on Sustainable Development Goals has been held at the Scientific and Methodological Center for Sustainable Development Goals of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The participants of the course were 1st year students of the Faculty of International Economic Relations of the Institute. The session was conducted by the representative of the Scientific and Methodological Center for Sustainable Development Goals of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Gapbar Hallyyev and senior lecturer of the Department of International Economic Relations of the Institute Perhat Charyyev. During the session, Sustainable Development Goals such as “Decent work and economic growth”, “Responsible production and consumption”, “Sustainable cities and towns” were discussed. In this regard, the great significance of Arkadag city was highlighted. As is known, the city of Arkadag, whose construction was launched in 2019 at the initiative of our Hero Arkadag, has become one of the brightest manifestations of the dynamic development of Turkmenistan. Its construction is carried out on the basis of advanced methods of architecture and urban planning, using the standards of “smart” cities, “green” technologies and in accordance with high environmental standards. During the session, students had an opportunity to ask questions of their interest regarding Goals of Sustainable Development.
