AN IMPORTANT MEETING WAS HELD
On October 15, 2025, a meeting with Mikhail Rakhmanov, head of the International Committee of the Red Cross delegation in Turkmenistan, was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The instructors and student of our Institute participated in this event.
The meeting included a detailed discussion of the ICRC's current activities in the region, particularly in Turkmenistan, the promotion of international humanitarian law and its implementation in national legislation, and cooperation with the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan. Specifically, reports were presented on cooperation aimed at the ICRC conducting educational and general courses on international humanitarian law at similar universities in Turkmenistan and improving Turkmenistan's legislative framework in line with International humanitarian law.
During the meeting, the participants asked the questions which they were most interested in.
