OUR STUDENTS' PROJECT HAS OBTAINED OWNERSHIP RIGHTS
Within the framework of the Young Scholars Council of the Institute of International Relations
of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the establishment of scientific clubs and the
active participation of students in these groups encourage young people to achieve great success
in science.
In the 2023–2024 academic year, at the "Oguztaslama-2024" project competition organized
among the youth of our country by the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of
Turkmenistan, Kadyrmyrat Ovezgylyjov, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of International Law,
was awarded second place — a silver medal — for his mobile application project titled “FacePay
— Payment via Facial Recognition.” Additionally, 2nd-year students of our institute’s Faculty of
International Relations, Sahydowlet Hummetjumayev and Shyhdurdy Shyhyyev, prepared a
scientific project titled “The Medicinal Properties of Pear Leaves and Their Infusions” to
participate in the international scientific-project competition "The Role of Youth in Achieving
the Sustainable Development Goals," which was organized digitally by the Turkmen
Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov among students of higher educational
institutions of our country and abroad.
The jury highly evaluated the scientific projects created by our students. Our students submitted
their project to the State Service for Intellectual Property under the Ministry of Finance and
Economy of Turkmenistan. The scientific project developed by our institute’s students was
accepted, and ownership rights for the project were officially granted to its creators.
A Strategy for the Development of the Science Sector in Turkmenistan for 2024–2025 has been
adopted, and comprehensive measures are being carried out to develop the scientific system. In
accordance with the adopted national and international state programs, large-scale activities are
underway, with important decisions and resolutions being made. These efforts are aimed at
encouraging young people’s scientific initiatives, supporting their active involvement and
implementation of projects, providing opportunities for participation in international forums and
meetings, including events held abroad, and engaging young scholars in joint and coordinated
projects.
We express our sincere gratitude to our Hero Arkadag and the Arkadagly Hero Serdar for
creating wide opportunities for our student youth to actively participate in scientific
competitions, showcase their talents and intellectual abilities, and achieve new accomplishments
in science.
