TRAINING COURSE ON WATER DIPLOMACY WAS SUCCESFULLY HELD
On May 24, 2023, the head of the research department of the ”Turkmensuw ylmytaslama” Annabayev Geldimyrat, at the training center of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on important areas of Turkmen diplomacy, addressed the audience with the topic “Innovative measures to support reforms in the water sector”.
In the economic strategy of the President of Turkmenistan the priority is the development of the rural industrial complex, environmental protection, improving the standard of living of the population, the importance of installing water saving technologies to improve the quality of irrigation of agricultural fields in our country.
The agenda of the course included issues related to the world experience in the implementation of innovative devices and digital technologies for the sustainable management of water resources. Also during the course, special attention was paid to such areas as the availability and efficiency of the irrigation system.
The course was very effective for the students and they received answer for their questions.
