REGULAR WATER DIPLOMACY COURSE WAS HELD
On December 19, 2025, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held the regular water diplomacy course on "Climate Change in the Context of the Sustainable Development Goals." The course was conducted by Durli Balliyeva, Senior Lecturer of the Department of International Law and Comparative Law Studies of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the course, the instructor provided a detailed account of Turkmenistan's international cooperation in addressing important issues such as the rational use of water resources, environmental protection and sanitation, adaptation to climate change, and the further promotion of water diplomacy to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
This water diplomacy course proved highly effective for the participants. A question and answer session on the topic was held at the end of the course.
