"WHILE THE ARTS TALK..."
On September 11, 2023, at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, a personal exhibition of Ovezdurdy Muhammetberdiev, Doctor of Sociology, professor of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy was held. The professors, students and staff of our institute attended to the exhibition. Professor Ovezdurdy Muhammedberdiev's works created in different years at the exhibition made a pleasant impression on the participants of the exhibition with their beauty, diversity, harmony of colors and high artistic level. The artistic depiction of the ancient history and national characteristics of the Turkmen people in the works greatly contributed to the improvement of the sense of patriotism in the younger generations. The National Leader of the Turkmen people, our hero Arkadag, wrote in his wisdom book "Music of peace, music of friendship and brotherhood" that "While the arts are talking, the weapons do not make a sound!" says very kindly. Although Professor is a sociologist by profession, his involvement in visual arts has fueled the students' passion for art. The holding of such exhibitions at the National School of Turkmen Diplomacy greatly contributes to the improvement of the artistic literacy of future international experts and to the increase of their passion for visual arts.
