An online meeting of the Research Center for Strategic Studies
On May 31, 2022, at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan an online video conference was held between the Research Center for Strategic Studies of the Institute and the Institute of Foreign Policy Studies under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It was attended by representatives of the centers.
During the meeting, Shiri Shiriyev, a head of the Research Center for Strategic Studies at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, addressed the meeting, emphasizing that the main task of the center is to carry out effective cooperation in the foreign policy of Turkmenistan, as well as to organize research and consulting activities. Bolat Nurgaliyev, a head of the Institute for Foreign Policy Studies under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, stressed the importance of cooperating in areas of mutual interest, taking into account the similarity of goals and objectives for the development of relations between the two countries.
At the end of the meeting, both sides discussed issues such as the exchange of scientific materials between the Institutes, the placement of agreed information on official websites, the holding of joint scientific conferences and roundtables on topics of mutual interest.
