CONSULTATION ON THE METHODOLOGY OF SELECTING JOURNALS INDEXED ON THE SCOPUS PLATFORM
On March 12, 2025, an online educational-methodological conference was held
at the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan on the topic “Methodology for
Selecting Journals Indexed on the SCOPUS Platform”. The session included teachers,
scholars and professions of higher educational institutions of our country, including
the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of
Turkmenistan, participated in the conference via a digital system.
The educational-methodological conference organized by the State Energy
Institute of Turkmenistan was guided by the objectives outsized in the “Procedure
for Holding Educational-Methodological Conferences on Improving the
Understanding of International Scientific and Technical Information resources
(platforms)”. The publication of articles in journals indexed on SCOPUS and other
recognized platforms are important indicator of the work carried out in higher
educational institutions.
On January 24, 2025 the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan approved the
task of bringing the national educational system to the level of international
standards. After all, including our country’s institutions in prestigious international
journal ranking is at center of our country’s national program.
The educational-methodical conference dedicated to the "Methodology for
Selecting Journals Indexed on the SCOPUS Platform",aligned with the task of
identifying the professional development of teachers and implementing research. This
event effectively demonstrated scientific achievements in this field and provided
valuable insights for its participants.
