ADVANTAGES OF DIGITAL SYSTEM
On July 6, 2024, the CyberTM Hackathon competition was held at the "Digital Education" private enterprise organized together with the USAID representative office in Turkmenistan. The competition was attended by academic staff and cyber security specialists of higher and secondary vocational educational establishments.
According to the rules of the competition, 6 teams with 6 people in each team competed. The groups were named in accordance with the lessons studied:
group 1 - Cryptic knights;
group 2 Secure System;
group 3 Network Ninjas;
group 4 Cyber Shield;
group 5 Firewall fighters;
group 6 is Cyber warriors.
This competition consists of 4 stages, in which tasks related to the execution of attacks, protection, configuration of network topologies and their protection were assigned. The competition was competitive and effective.
Academic staff and experts from the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan also participated in this competition. Taking active part in the competition in the 1st group, K. Yovbagshiyev, the main specialist of the Institute's Digital Systems and Communication Department, in the 3rd group, M. Nepesov, a teaching staff of the Institute's International Economic Relations Department, in the 4th group, the 1st-level engineer of the Institute's Digital Systems and Communication Department S. Ashyrova managed to win 1st, 2nd and 3rd places respectively.
The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places winners of the competition were awarded 70%, 50%, and 30% discount cards and relevant certificates for other courses of "Digital Education" private enterprise by the organizers of the competition. On behalf of our Institute, we wish the participants great success in their endeavors in the field of digital networking and cyber security.
