A WEBINAR WAS HELD
On May 20, 2025, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted an online webinar dedicated to the 30th
anniversary of the country's permanent Neutrality, as well as the United Nations
General Assembly's declaration of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and
Trust.
The webinar was organized in line with the Concept of Turkmenistan’s
activities and priorities for the International Year of Peace and Trust. It brought
together faculty and students from higher and secondary vocational educational
institutions across the country.
The event was jointly conducted by Jemile Purjayeva, a senior lecturer of the
Department of Theory and Practice of Journalism, and Nazar Meredov, a lecturer
of the Department of International Economic Relations.
During the webinar, a senior lecturer Jemile Purjayeva delivered a speech
entitled “The Importance of the Hero Arkadag's Interview in Promoting
Turkmenistan’s Peaceful Foreign Policy”, while a lecturer Nazar Meredov
presented on the topic “Ten Principles of Economics''.
Their speeches highlighted that Turkmenistan’s peaceful international
relations and foreign policy initiatives are receiving significant attention from
leading global media outlets. This growing interest within the international
community is a clear reflection of Turkmenistan’s rising global stature.
It was also emphasized that the international media’s focus on the foreign
policy and diplomacy of Neutral Turkmenistan is widely supported by the
initiatives of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, and our
esteemed President, Arkadagly Hero Serdar. In particular, special attention was
drawn to the significance of the National Leader’s meetings with representatives of
international media.
At the end of webinar, the exchange of questions and answers session on
pressing topics further enhanced the effectiveness of the training session.
