The First Meeting of the Participants of the Scientific «EcoClub» Circle
On October 3, 2024, the first meeting of the participants of the scientific circle «EcoClub» of the Department of World Languages of the Institute was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. This circle was created in the purpose of improving the language skills of students, cultivating a love for the environment and natural beauty, and forming an interest in creativity through the use of modern technologies.
During the meeting, the leaders of the circle – teachers of the Department of world Languages of the Institute Joshua Tilon, Maya Charyeva, through a presentation, told the participants of the circle in details about the tasks and planned events.
Videos were also shown of the wasteful use of natural resources, air, water and soil pollution, the accumulation of hazardous waste and accidents with significant environmental consequences.
After the demonstration of the videos, the leaders called on the students to take good care of the environment. At the end of the meeting, the participants proposed their ideas for popularizing the «EcoClub» circle.
