The “Summer University” Project Was Summed Up
On July 19, 2024, the results of the “Summer University” project were summed up at the Kazan Federal University (KFU) of the Tatarstan Republic of the Russian Federation. In the assembly hall of the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication of KFU, the mentors and best participants of the project were honored. The closing ceremony was held with the participation of the Vice-Rector for External Relations Timirkhan Alishev and Director of the Department of External Relations Olga Vershinina.
This project is being implemented by the Kazan Federal University with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Sociocenter.” In his speech, the Vice-Rector for External Relations Timirkhan Alishev noted that the participants who came from 13 countries showed themselves not only in the field of science and education, but also in cultural aspects. This suggests that the university is a place of creative self-realization for young people.
This year, 400 students from 13 countries of the world such as Abkhazia, Azerbaijan, the Republic of Belarus, South Africa, Brazil, China, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and, of course, Russia took part in the project. A cultural program, a presentation of the countries participating in the Global Village, was provided to welcome and integrate foreign guests. During the closing ceremony, the project mentors for each of the tracks were noted: Kamilla Smolnikova, Guzel Garnaeva, Ulugbek Sadiev, Natalya Gladkova, Elvira Sharifullina, Nailya Mufazalova, Albina Mukhamadyarova, Elena Denisenko, Elza Bashirova, Adela Sayfutdinova, Stanislav Mladenov, Rustem Chanyshev, Andrey Ermilov, Oksana Polyakova, Maksud Marufi, Tatyana Baklashova and Anton Dyganov.
Special words of gratitude were addressed to the team of volunteers. The festive atmosphere was created by bright musical performances.
As mentioned earlier, the “Summer University” project consists of six tracks: “Artificial Intelligence and Information Technologies Prompt-Engineering,” “Technologies of the Future: Physics and Engineering,” “Language. Culture. Creativity,” “Architecture. Design. Urbanism,” “Business Analytics 5.0: Design and Development of Information Panels with Yandex Data Lens” (in English), “BRICS+: New Trends in International Relations” (in English). At the end of the educational tracks, all participants awarded with certificates.
The project was first implemented in 2021. KFU joined it IN 2023. The main goal of the project is to popularize Russian education, establish interpersonal, intercultural, interethnic communication between Russian and foreign students.
This project was attended by the third year student of the Faculty of International Journalism of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Jennet Myradova, the instructor of the Department of World Languages of the institute Maya Charyeva, as well as students of the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management Arslan Shaimov, Yakut Soltanmyradov, Hemra Bayrammuhammedov, Begench Tayirov. The project provided an excellent opportunity to explore the potential of our students in the fields of science, education and creative activities.
