TRAINING COURSES WERE CONDUCTED BY IRANIAN PROFESSORS
From February 16 to 26, 2026, Magtymguly Turkmen State University hosted professional development courses in Persian language and literature for lecturers and students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan. These courses were organized by the Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Turkmenistan. Ahmadighader Shahnaz and Sheikhi Tahmine, Persian language and literature specialists from the Saadi Foundation of the Islamic Republic of Iran, conducted the training sessions.
Faculty members and students attended the courses from Magtymguly Turkmen State University, the Dovletmammet Azady Turkmen National Institute of World Languages, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Seyitnazar Seydi Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute, and the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan.
Creating an advanced system for training specialists who meet high international standards is a priority of the country's educational policy. As is well known, in accordance with the Strategy for the Development of Higher Professional Education in Turkmenistan for 2026–2052, it is planned to fundamentally improve educational activities, systematically enhance the professional levels of faculty and youth, strengthen the material and technical base of universities, and integrate national higher education institutions into leading international rankings. Currently, various courses are being held across the country with the participation of professors from the world's leading universities.
One of the primary goals of the state is to bring the science and education system to the level of advanced nations, further expand international cooperation in this field, strengthen the material and technical resources for scientific research, and modernize teaching methodologies. In this regard, all necessary conditions are being created in our country for scientists and researchers to work even more effectively. The professional development courses in Persian language and literature held at Magtymguly Turkmen State University served as a clear testament to these efforts. At the conclusion of the courses, participants were awarded official Certificates.
