Intelligence Contest titled “Young Messengers of Peace”
REGULATIONS
for the Intelligence Contest titled “Young Messengers of Peace” among
the members of the School of Young Diplomats of the Institute of International
Relations
of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan
1. The announcement of the intellectual contest under the title “Young Messengers of Peace” has been uploaded on the website of the Institute, on the website of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan www.yashlar.gov.tm and published in the newspaper “Nesil”.
2. The contest welcomes high school students (IX-XI grades) of secondary schools of Turkmenistan.
3. Young people wishing to take part in the contest shall write a 5-10 page scientific and creative work (A4 format, 1.5 space) in the free genre on the following topics: “Diplomacy is my dream”, “Diplomacy – a tool of peace”, “History of the Turkmen people – a model of peace-building diplomacy”, or on another relevant topic. It shall be submitted through the email of the Institute parahatchylygynchaparlary@gmail.com. These requirements will be announced at the intellectual contest “Young Messenger of Peace.”
4. Young people who want participate in the competition shall submit a short resume which includes name and surname, home address, school, telephone number, academic and creative achievements, subject Olympiads, sports or other competitions. and attach a 3×4 size electronic photo for the document via the e-mail parahatchylygynchaparlary@gmail.com;
5. The scientific and creative works for the contest will be accepted within three weeks since the date of publication of this announcement;
6. The preliminary group of applicants wishing to participate in the competition will be selected on the basis of the best results of analysis and evaluation of scientific and creative works;
7. Selected candidates will be invited to the Special Studio of the IIR of the MFAT to participate in the contest;
8. Competition on a phased basis:
I. November 2021;
II. December 2021;
III. January 2022;
IV. February 2022;
V. March 2022;
VI. March 2022;
VII. April 2022;
VIII. It will be held in May 2022. Two winners from each round will be selected and nominated for the finals.
9. Round IX and X will select two winners who have won the previous eight rounds. The winners of rounds IX and X will take part in the final XI round, and among them the winners of the main prize, I, II and III places will be determined.
10. The Cup, diploma and prizes belonging to the 1st place winner will be awarded in the final round. Diplomas and valuable prizes will be awarded to the 2nd and 3rd place winners. Other candidates who participated in the finals will be awarded with a memorandum of appreciation and a gift.
11. Procedure for holding the contest round, organizational activities related to the participation of the candidates, financial expenses related to the cup, diplomas and prizes, jury control, questioning and answering, judging and determining the winners in the nomination, TV and other issues will be announced.
