TRAINING – METHODOLOGICAL SEMINAR WAS HELD
On April 21, 2026, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a training-methodological seminar, organized by the Departments of World Languages and Social Sciences. The event was dedicated to Turkmenistan’s chairmanship of the upcoming Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia. Professors, teachers and students, including members of the scientific clubs “Lingvo World” and “Payhas we Parasat” of the Institute actively participated in this seminar. The session was moderated by Chemen Bayrieva, a senior lecturer at the Department of World Languages.
During the seminar, speakers delivered presentations in various foreign languages, reflecting the Institute’s multilingual approach to diplomacy. These reports provided a comprehensive overview of the history of the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, assessing its landmark achievements and the strategic evolution of its collaborative format.
Through its upcoming chairmanship, Turkmenistan is committed to fostering regional unity and solidarity. A primary focus will be placed on deepening economic integration and enhancing Central Asia’s appeal for foreign investment. This includes the realization of large-scale international projects within the strategic sectors of energy, transport and communications.
