TRAINING SEMINAR WAS CONDUCTED
On May 14, 2024, a training seminar was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. Jennet Ovekova, a member of the Committee on Legislation of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, students, and the instructors of our institute took part in this seminar.
On February 22, 2024, according to the tasks of the Presidium of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, regular activities are carried out in order to legislatively support the domestic and foreign political initiatives of the President of Turkmenistan, as well as to improve the legislation in the field of civil-law relations and to develop legal culture among students.
The constitutional principles of human rights were discussed and Article 28 of the Constitution of Turkmenistan confirmed the equality of rights and freedoms of a person and a citizen, as well as nationality, skin color, gender, origin, property and occupation, place of residence, language, religion, political. It elaborated on the importance of guaranteeing the equality of man and citizen before the law and the courts, regardless of their beliefs or circumstances. She also spoke about the Sustainable Development Goals and the work of the United Nations Children's Fund. During the seminar, students found answers to various questions they were interested in.
