VISIT TO NISA MONUMENTS COMPLEX
On May 25, 2024, the foreign guests in the framework of the program of International Competition «International Relations: Culture of Peaceful Relations» being held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan jointly organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan visited the State historical-cultural reserve which was entered to the World Cultural Heritage List of the UNESCO.
The participants of this international competition were the students and professors of universities of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the People ’s Republic of China, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Turkiye, and the Russian Federation. During the trip, they got acquainted with the Old and New Nisa fortresses, a complex of monuments that contain the traces of ancient cultures. The guests got acquainted with the study of the monuments of the ancient Parthian Kingdom, the historical findings found by archaeologists in the reserve, and received information about the latest scientific studies that confirm their great importance and require further research.
The guests from the Republic of Turkiye visited the monument complex of «Nisa» State historical-cultural reserve and expressed their pride saying, «I have seen my own history». Moreover, the guests exchanged views on the diplomatic relations of that historical period.
The participants of the tour expressed their gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan for the wide opportunities created to reveal the abilities and talents of the young generation in the country.
