Video conference on German language teaching
On March 12, 2021 a video conference was held at three universities in Turkmenistan dedicated to the teaching of German as a foreign language. Participants were teachers and students from the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Dovletmammed Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages and the Seyitnazar Seydi Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute. Presentations at the conference covered a wide range of current topics with regard to the goals and methods of foreign language teaching and learning. The setting allowed for in-depth discussions of topics after each presentation. The conference offered a highly appreciated opportunity for exchange of expertise and development to teaching professionals and students in the higher education sector of Turkmenistan.
