International Recognition of Our Nationality
On February 10, 2022, the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports hosted a solemn meeting dedicated to the inclusion of dutar making craftsmanship and bagshi art into the UNESCO List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
The meeting was co-organized by the Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly, the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO, the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan. It was attended by the representatives of institutions and organizations mentioned, teachers and students of the Institute.
During the meeting, Specialist of the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, Volunteer of the Secretariat of the National Team of Turkmenistan for UNESCO Affairs, a lecturer of the Institute of International Relations of the Institute of International Relations of the Institute of International Relations made speeches about the large-scale work of the President to preserve the national values of our country, restore them and pass them to future generations. Emphasis was also placed on the tasks facing the Turkmen youth in enriching and spreading the spiritual values of the Turkmen people inherited from our ancestors.
During the solemn meeting, the Turkmen folk songs performed by the musicians of the creative group “Healthy Generations” on the dutar made an impression on the participants.
In the end of the event, the participants expressed their gratitude to our Hero Arkadag for his work to preserve and promote the national heritage of the Turkmen people in the world.
