THE SECOND STAGE OF THE SUBJECT OLYMPIAD WAS HELD AMONG SCHOOL STUDENTS
On April 27, 2026, the second round of the Olympiad titled "Watanyň daýanjy – bilimli ýaşlar, Arkadagly Gahryman Serdaryň guwanjy ýaşlar!" in the subjects of History of Turkmenistan, Mathematics, Turkmen Language, and English Language was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
This Olympiad is organized among 12th-grade students of the country’s secondary schools on the occasion of International Education Day, proclaimed by the United Nations. About 200 schoolchildren from all regions of the country, as well as from Ashgabat and Arkadag cities, who successfully passed the first round of the Olympiad, took part in it.
As the Esteemed President stated: "We are carrying out effective work in the field of education to raise young generations with spiritual maturity and a broad outlook." The adoption of key documents such as the Law of Turkmenistan "On State Youth Policy," the "Concept of Improving Teaching Methodology in Turkmenistan until 2028," and the "Strategy for International Cooperation of the Youth of Turkmenistan until 2030" clearly demonstrates this commitment. As a result of such state support, Turkmen youth successfully participate in Olympiads and international competitions both within the country and abroad.
The Olympiad, organized by the National School of Turkmen Diplomacy, plays an important role in identifying talented young people, assessing the intellectual level of school students, and encouraging those who are capable of independently solving complex problems in the conditions of a rapidly developing market economy.
The results of the second round of the Olympiad will soon be published on the Institute's official website.
