YOUNG REPORTERS WERE PROVIDED WITH THE SESSION
On January 24, 2026, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a training session for young reporters from the media groups from higher educational institutions of our country. The session focused on the upcoming first championship of the AFC-2 Round of Champions League for 1/8 final match between the “Arkadag” Turkmen football club and “Al-Nassr” the Saudi Arabian team taking place in Ashgabat on February 11. Some representatives of the media group participated through the digital network.
The session for the media group members entitled “The Turkmen Sport Diplomacy is the Homeland of Healthiness and Inspiration” was conducted by Mahektach Maksadova, the instructor of the Department of English Phonetics and Lexicology of the Magtymguly Turkmen State University. The lecturer spoke on significance of Sport Diplomacy and International championships hosted in our country in recent years, as well as the key role of volunteers in such events. She also talked about interesting facts regarding the work of International Organizations for strengthening the Sport Diplomacy.
